  1. Ajcon EduFin Pvt Ltd (“AEPL”) is committed to ensuring and protecting the privacy of any person (the “User” or grammatical variations thereof) who accesses and uses this Website (the “Website”).

 

APPLICABILITY

  1. The Privacy Policy explains how AEPL deals with the information shared and collected from the User.
  2. The User agrees and accepts to be bound by the Privacy Policy.
  3. The Privacy Policy is applicable to any person or entity that uses the Website or shares information with AEPL

 

SCOPE

  1. The Privacy Policy governs the access, collection, usage, handling, storage and disclosure of information shared and collected during the use of the Website.

  1. AEPL provides the User with the ability to keep information shared with it accurate and up – to date. The User can update and / or add to the information already shared with AEPL and uploaded on the Website by making necessary modification(s) on the Website.

COLLECTION

  1. AEPL collects data as provided by the User directly and / or indirectly.
  2. Most of the data is collected from the information provided by the User directly under following circumstances: –
  • When the User creates an account with AEPL on the Website;
  • When the User contacts AEPL offline for eg. by telephone, email,etc;
  • When the User submits forms to sign up for any particular training programme offered by AEPL
  1. AEPL may also use cookies for collection of information about Website activity by the User.
  2. AEPL may also collect information through third party plugins i.e, when the User create or log into his/ her account through another service (e.g. Facebook or LinkedIn).
  3. The information that AEPL collects and the manner, depends upon how the User interacts with AEPL
  4. AEPL, amongst other information, collects the following data: –
  • Name, email address, password, country, place and address of residence, gender , contact number , company/organisation, information that one would usually include in a resume including education qualifications, skills, past and present remuneration etc. along with copy of resume & any information collected indirectly as stated hereinabove.

 

USAGE

  1. AEPL uses information collected as under: –
  • To improve functionality of the Website and to enhance User experience;
  • To conduct research for internal purposes.
  • To undertake internal testing of the website, systems and services to test and improve security and performance.
  • To provide any information that we are required to submit for legal purposes.
  • To establish contact with the User by sharing updates, news, posts and information with regards to job opportunities, training/ certification courses and set reminders including, for example, instructions to fill a job application, progress in respect of courses, deadlines for a course, etc.
  • To monitor and protect the security of the Website, detect and prevent fraudulent transactions, spam(s) and other illegal activities.

 

HANDLING

  1. AEPL is committed to safeguarding User privacy. AEPL regularly monitors and reviews information collection process and storage practices to prevent any un – authorised access.
  2. AEPL takes reasonable steps necessary to ensure that User data is treated securely and in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
  3. AEPL strives to protect User information by using tools such as encryption, passwords, physical security, etc. to protect User information.
  4. However, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. AEPL does not guarantee its absolute security. The User provides the information at its own initiative and risk.
  5. AEPL cannot be held responsible for any breach of security or for any actions by third parties, eg. computer hacking, etc.

 

STORAGE

  1. AEPL shall not retain User information any longer than it is necessary for the purposes for which the information is collected. At the expiry of such period, the User information shall be deleted.
  2. AEPL shall retain relevant User information to comply with any legal storage requirement, such as book – keeping rules or where there are other legal grounds to keep the information, such as ongoing contractual relationship, or for accounting purposes, etc.
  3. The User may request full deletion of User information/ account and all related information by emailing at AEPL, provided there is no legal obligation for AEPL to preserve the same. .

 

DISCLOSURE

  1. AEPL does not sell User information. However, AEPL may disclose relevant User information in limited circumstances to its subsidiaries, employees, and individuals that need to know the information in order to enable AEPL to provide services on the Website. AEPL requires its subsidiaries, employees, and independent contractors to follow this Privacy Policy in respect of information received by them.
  2. AEPL may share relevant User information with instructors and teaching assistants, third party vendors who offer their services on AEPL.
  3. AEPL may also release relevant information when the same is required to comply with legal requirements, to protect rights, to investigate fraud or respond to a government request.
  4. In connection with any merger, sale of assets, or acquisition of all or a portion of AEPL business by another entity, or in any other event, User information shall be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired. In such an event, this Privacy Policy shall also apply to the party receiving such User information.

  1. The Website may contain links to other sites. Clicking on the third – party link will re – direct the User to that website. Third party websites are not operated by AEPL. The User is advised to review the privacy policy of third party AEPL assumes no responsibility in such a case.

 

GENERAL

  1. The User can contact AEPL, Grievance Officer at AEPL to resolve pending issues and / or for any further assistance in respect of the Privacy Policy.
  2. The User can always choose not to provide certain information to AEPL. However, this may prevent the User from using certain features of the Website.
  3. The Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time at the sole discretion of AEPL or on account of changes in law.
  4. Unless otherwise specified, such revisions shall take effect from the day and date they are posted on the Website.
  5. AEPL shall be under no obligation to notify the User about the changes.
